Well that's unfortunate...it's just one of those days, i guess.

So, my passport is expired. This was the Debbie Downer of the week. Looks like Canada will have to wait til the summer. Besides, it'll be less frigid.

With that sad news, I did my MO taxes today which took around three hours total. I got a glimpse at why most people have their taxes professional done. I'm still opposed to letting someone else do my taxes. Some day I might change my mind but I doubt it.

I called my mom to catch up with her and told her about the passport situation and the tax situation only to find out that I probably didn't need to fill out the MO1040-Long Form. That's what it's called... Seriously, couldn't think of a better name for that form, MO? No wonder people hate doing their taxes. "Yea, I had to do the LONG form. It was a swell time..."

On the flip side, there's a federal filing form labeled the 1040EZ. That's a form that would make people more open to the idea of doing the taxes.

As an alternative to the Canada trip, Maine was thrown out as an option for spring break.
