if i published these in a book, i'd be a genius

whenever i change my sleeping location (op -> manhattan and vice versa) i almost inevitably have the craziest dreams.

last night i dreamed i was interviewing pres. obama about the contradictory remarks about the stimulus bill and the reality of it. this was one of those "this is actually real life" dreams. yea, not really. i still want an answer to that question by the way...

after that i had the privilege of being falsely convinced that i had awoken from my sleep at least four times. it should be noted that all of these felt real and had me 100% convinced....until it happened again.

first, i "woke up" on the floor of another capstone living room when creagar came in (for maintenance presumably) and whispered in my ear. john, if you do this...

**these next three episodes are more plausible because, in actuality, they do happen frequently because of my proximity to the living room of the house**

second, i "woke up" again when i heard rachel's voice coming from the living room. not wanting to be anti-social and pro-oversleeping, i got up, peeked through the crack in my door, put on a shirt, and as i stepped into the living room...it happened again...

this time, it was karlie, adam, and brittany. i pulled myself from bed, peeked through the door, etc. and, like a broken record...

karlie, adam, and erica were in the living room chatting away.

the next time i woke up - for real - to...

and then slapped myself in the face, which is my last-ditch and foolproof method for determining real consciousness.

fool me once, shame on you. fool me twice, shame on me. fool me four times, __________.
