I plan to host a treasure hunt via my blog/Facebook.
The treasure will be unveiled through the finding of hidden clues on campus. (sorry non-Manhattan folks)
These clues will be hidden on campus and will remain even after other clues are added.
These clues will combine to form the answer that will yield the treasure.
What is the incentive you ask?
Besides the thrill of finding hidden items on campus and solving riddles, the winner or winners will have the option of visiting the prestigious K-State "Hall of Fame" or three(3) books from my personal library.
I will post the first clue tomorrow.
The rules are as follows:
Anyone can participate. Teams of no more than two(2) are allowed.
Participants, whether a team of two or individual, must notify me, that they are entering the hunt. The list of official participants will be kept hidden. Once the second clue is given, official participants will be emailed the list of their competitors. If a substantial number of people join, the number of 'winners' will increase proportionally and the 'treasure' will increase as well.
Participants are NOT to seek assistance from others. Under special circumstances, 'hints' may be given privately.
Clues are NOT to be taken from the hidden locations or altered/destroyed.
Additional rules may be suggested by both participants and non-participants.

This is right up my alley!
ReplyDeleteC-Bro,
Are we kindred spirits and I didn't know it?! I love this! I totally want to participate but fear my schedule (and my not being on campus) will hinder my hunting. Hmm...regardless, I love that you are hosting this genius of an event.
