Miss California should be the President

I don't really believe that, but it got you here...

So, CNN polled the country on Obama's first 100 days in office. Overall, he received a 'B-' on his performance as president. On other issues such as his foreign policy, he received a 'C+'. On other issues, such as the economy, he received similar grades. CNN reported that his actions regarding policy are lower than his overall grade as performing as president.

What I'm trying to get at is this. Obama, as a man, is more popular than his policies.

If the American people didn't vote him into office to make policy, why is he there?

If we grade our leaders on performance and neglect specific policy issues, what exactly are we grading him on? The duties of the president are to enact policy.

If by the same logic, Miss Califonia's policy/answer regarding gay marriage shouldn't have been an issue, yet, it was.

Make up your mind America. Do we care more about what people appear to be OR what they do?

I saw this on the CNN ticker. Thinking I had read it wrong, I waited for it to scroll by again. Unfortunately, I read it right...

...Churchgoers more likely to back torture

Is this really what we're known for?
