Powerful words, both musical and political...

I found this video through Facebook a couple days ago. This guy is a Member of the European Parliment (MEP). He gave a speech this March 24 in response to PM Brown's actions regarding the global financial crisis.

While I don't know his specific views on many topics, what absolutely blew me away was the wit, clarity and force behind his words.

I'm blown away at the style which the British conduct their political discourse. I sometimes watch the British House of Commons on CSPAN. Those guys actually debate their topics. I don't know if our run-of-the-mill US senator would last a week in the House of Commons.
