spring breaks aren't like they used to be

My longest standing decision to make over spring break - which DSM tabs to buy... (sad, i know)

Choice #1 $15.99 + $4.35 s/h

Pros:
seem to be more durable
includes tabs for all appendices

Cons:
$19 after it's all said and done
tabs on top may bend / complicate shelving

Choice #2 $8.99 + $1.00 s/h

Pros:
cheaper
color-coded by diagnosis type

Cons:
doesn't include tabs for appendices and only one extra tab
soft plastic tabs (maybe)

Choice #3 $12.95 + $2.50 s/h

Pros:
Includes appendices
color-coded

Cons:
$17.50
look flimsy

Thoughts?

  1. I tend to think the money is well spent on things for work. Go big or go home. I vote number one

  2. When is DSM-V supposed to come out? Should you wait for it so you don't have to buy tabs twice?

  3. May 2013 is when the APA expects the DSM-V to be released.
