Pluses and Minuses = The Weekend

Points of the Week:

Plus + Getting a lot of furniture back to KC.

Minus - Left later; Missed surprising Mom for lunch.

Plus + Being able to visualize the rest of my move.

Minus - Everything I own in Manhattan is on the floor of my room.

Plus + Talking with my dad about my family dynamics, specifically my brother and my mom.

Minus - Hearing that my mom wasn't happy that I left her out of my grad school loop.

Plus + Figuring out I have time to surprise my Mom for lunch today.

Minus - Getting to 135th & Roe and hearing from her that she's in a lunch meeting.

Plus + Eating dinner with Adam, Liam, Stevie, Gideon, and their parents.

Bonus * Talking about Star Wars AND Star Trek trivia, etc., not only with the kids, but primarily with their parents...for about 2 1/2 hours. Sweet.

Plus + Playing 'Bang!' with John, Tiffany, Luke, Tyler and Stephen.

Minus - Accidentally saying, "I'm banging you, John." [Even though the game's title, Bang!, is more exciting to say, this can create confusion, awkwardness, and spontaneous laughter.]
